![]() WMM and Power Save capabilities enable wireless devices to obtain quality of service (QoS) and conserve battery power, respectively, when associated to a Meraki wireless network. Our customers have been able to deploy these applications easily and reliably by utilizing a number of features in the Meraki solution:ġ. Physical security and voice/data convergence have been implemented broadly over wired networks in the last decade, but providing these applications over wireless networks is a more recent trend. Since releasing enhanced voice and video capabilities earlier this year, we have seen growth in the number of video and voice applications running over Meraki wireless networks. We talke.Voice and Video aren’t just for your wired network anymore! Friday, October 9th, 2009 In September she is going back to Vietnam. Almost two years ago I met her here in our home country. I tried setting up 元 routing using "best guess" on the config but no change. The ports the APs are connected to are set to trunk, native vlan 1, allow all vlans, the client VLAN is 12 which is what the SSID is set to tag to.ĭoes anyone know what might cause this? it seems like a routing issue, but my knowledge on that subject is pretty poor. For some reason setting the native VLAN to 1 on those ports brings the link down. The ports that link the cabinets are set as trunk ports with a native VLAN of 10 (infrastructure VLAN) but allows all VLANS to talk over it. In the cabinet where the switches and AP are directly connected to the firewall (stack 1) everything works as intended, but in stack 2, the AP seems unable to talk with the firewall to get DHCP, it fails every time. ![]() There's corporate wifi which takes IPs from a DHCP scope on the firewall, and guest which uses meraki DHCP. There are 2 racks in which this equipment is spread out, the 2 cabinets are linked via ethernet (this was handled by the site owner, so not sure exactly how this is achieved) so the switch stacks can talk to each other. ![]() I helped set up a new network infrastructure for a company, they have a Sonciwall tz500 which handles DHCP, meraki switches and APs. Hi Everyone, this issue is starting to get the better of me so hopefully someone can help!
